The owners of Andean Wings Boutique Hotel are very skilled professionals in their respective fields: Lesley Myburgh, originally from South Africa (thus our restaurant name – Mandela’s), is our General Manager and has eleven years of experience in the tourism industry in Cusco. Prior to her role here at Andean Wings Boutique Hotel, she created one of the most well-known hotels in the city, La Casa de la Gringa, still operating in the artistic quarter of San Blas, as well as various businesses in South Africa. José Antonio Gamarra, our Operations Manager, and Fernando Amprimo, our Financial Manager -aside from their obvious skills at creating and running a unique and beautiful hotel, are also both graduated chefs of Cordon Bleu in Peru and are both leaders in the avant-garde Peruvian cuisine.
